Description and context

A site might need team storage if the local associates have:

  • Swag items

  • Paper documentation that can’t be digitized, but which needs to be held onto for a set period of time to meet legal requirements. (Preference is for an external partner to scan and manage paper records in bulk.)

  • Small amounts of hardware or IT items for testing

  • Cameras, chargers, batteries, etcetera

  • Reference materials

Items not eligible for team storage:

  • IT equipment in bulk

  • E-waste

  • Holiday decorations

Preferred locations:

  • Distributed within the open workspace or neighborhoods (ideally not directly behind workstations);

  • Located near points of entry and exit, and touchdown settings;

  • Away from window elevation

Alternate location (for offices with existing space constraints):

Management of team storage by local Facility Operations:

  • Designated key holders (minimum of 2) are reviewed on a recurring basis
