Globally accessible, variably sized lockers available for all Red Hat associates. Multiple lock options ranging from basic to advanced.

Design

Description and context

  • Lockers will remain unassigned, and available for day use, unless it is required by business. See associate locker FAQ (authentication required).

  • 1 control panel terminal (will take up one locker space)
  • Maximum of 250 lockers per hub
  • Total length of entire network cabling for a bank of lockers has to be less than 500 meters (1,640 feet) between Smart Locker Terminal and server room to every Smart Locker Hub/s.
  • Ports in Untrusted Wired VLAN 40

Specialty

Branding and signage 

  • Visibly number the exterior of lockers. Use cut vinyl or other applications depending on locker materiality. Refer to the Red Hat Global Signage Guidelines.
